====== Hippo OpenSim Viewer ======

The Hippo OpenSim Viewer is a modified SecondLife viewer, targeted at OpenSim users.


===== Highlights =====
Find below a summary of the most important changes against the official Linden Lab release 1.20.15.

My future plans together with suggestions from users are collected on the [[development]] page. Please feel free to add to it!

**Limitations Removed or Extended**
  * Build up to 10,000 m.
  * Scale prims up to 256x256x256 m.
  * Set transparency up to 100 in the edit window.
  * Set the hole size down to 0.01 for prim shapes like torus.
  * Set hollow up to 99.
  * Join up to 100 groups.

**Changed Default Values**
  * Connect to OSGrid http://osgrid.org.
  * Allow multiple concurrent viewers (always assume "-multiple").
  * Increase the default value for MaxSelectDistance from 64 to 300.

**General**
  * Supports only the English language.
  * Replace references to Second Life with OpenSim (ongoing).

//NOTE: This viewer can still connect to the Second Life grid, but there most of the above features do not work.//
